Rosehip Oil - STEP 9
(aceite de rosa mosqueta)
Rosehip oil is also known as rosehip seed oil. It’s derived from the rosa canina rose bush, which is grown mostly in Chile. Unlike rose oil, which is extracted from rose petals, rosehip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant.
How to Use: Simply put a couple drops (1-2 drops is enough for your face, add a couple drops more to benefit your neck and shoulder area too) in the palm of your hand and use the tip of your index finger to gently dab the oil all over your face and décolletage. Then gently massage using upward strokes.
Benefits: Rosehips are thought to have more vitamin C than an orange or lemon. Vitamin C has antioxidant properties. Vitamin C also supports collagen production, which helps reduce wrinkling.
Extra Tips: Mix in with your foundation to prevent dryness. Add at nighttime with your night cream for extra moisturizer during your sleep.
